Family Court Case Management Offices include:

The Fifth Judicial Circuit’s Family Court Case Management offices process cases which involve children and families. Case managers review, organize, and schedule cases in order to lead cases towards final disposition.

The Family Court Case Management offices originated in January, 1995, pursuant to a Supreme Court Mandate requiring all circuits to provide assistance to the public in domestic relations matters. The types of cases involved include, but are not limited to, Dissolution of Marriage, Paternity, Step-Parent Adoption, Name Changes, Custody by Extended Family, modifications and enforcement.

The Family Court Case Management offices assist self-represented litigants with general information and requirements for compliance.

The Family Court Case Management offices are prohibited from providing legal advice. Litigants are urged to consult with an attorney on their case.

Self Help Forms

Family Court packets, forms and checklists may be obtained from the Clerk of Court (Family Law Division) in Citrus, Hernando, Marion and Sumter counties. In Lake County, forms are NOT available at the clerk’s office or website.

Filing fees vary from county to county, therefore, you should check with each clerk’s office for a schedule of filing fees.

Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course Providers

Section 61.21, Florida Statutes, requires the Department of Children and Families to provide each judicial circuit with a list of approved course providers and sites for the parent education and family stabilization course. Each circuit has a list of providers who offer the mandatory four (4) hour course at a variety of locations throughout the community.
